Zara finds it irritating and goes to other side of the garden
to play. She threw her flying disc in air, “zoo…” but it did not
came back. Zara thought it might be the mischief of Waleed again
and angrily she went by the tree far away in her garden and found body
of a dead Dog lying behind the tree. Zara immediately screamed, “Waleed,
Waleed come and see what I found in the garden.” Waleed thought
Zara was just kidding and trying to fool him. However,
when Zara forced him Waleed unwillingly came near
the tree and found the same. Zara thought it was
a street dog but he has belt on his neck and was a clean
and neat dog, which cannot be of street. They both examined the place well
but did not found any clue, which can reveal the identity of the dog.
Waleed said. “Zara to go and get gloves,” she went in and bought the gloves,
Waleed wore it and turned the dog. The dog was stabbed with a knife,
he was bleeding. They wondered why could be a dog killed so harshly,
what problem can a dog give to somebody. Their detective mind forced them to
investigate further and they decided to look into it. Whenever Waleed and Zara
have any case in their minds, which is to be solved, they are unable think of
anything else and give their complete focus on the current case only. Waleed
and Zara primarily decided to find out who the dog belongs to and later the reason of its murder.
They started their investigation by enquiring who all came to the garden yesterday night, as the
body was not stinking and the dog was bleeding so the body cannot be two or three days old.

They first went to the police station to inquire is there any
complaint lodge of missing dog. However, the respond was
negative and there was no such complaint. Later, they asked
the security guard of the garden but he was unable to recall
as many people visit the garden every day. Then they further
moved to the gardener who takes care of trees and he too
was oblivious. Zara and Waleed were finding it too difficult to
solve the case because they do not have a single clue but
they were brave enough to accept challenges. They both were
busy thinking what could be the reason of killing a dog. Zara
joked, “May be the dog have bitten somebody and the person
would have killed him.” Waleed explained Zara, “Whatever be
the reason they have to find it out, but how?”

Waleed and Zara went to Veterinary Clinic in their town
expecting that the doctor might know something about
the dog. However, they got nothing except disappointment.
Nevertheless, they did not give up and they then went to
the pet grooming centre in the town mall.

As they went inside, they found many people grooming their
pets. Waleed went to the counter for inquiring how many pets are
bought here every day for grooming and Zara was examining all
the pets. Zara found one dog that was standing alone and that
has the similar kind of belt tied on his neck. As soon as Zara
touched his belt, “Aauch, mummy…!!!” The dog bit her and she
started crying. Waleed scolded her and asked why she was
behind the dog’s belt and which clue can she get from it...? Zara
said she thought that might be the killer killed his dog, bought a
new dog instead of him, and tied the same old belt onto his neck.
Waleed giggled at her. The receptionist called Waleed and told
him that three dogs who regularly comes for grooming are absent
from last two days. Waleed took the address of all three in his
diary and walked all the way there. Zara followed him.
